Our fully-qualified practitioners offer a range of counselling and psychotherapy services as described below

Appointments

All our appointments are offered on an in-person basis at South Side Centre except in exceptional circumstances or as agreed.

Currently we are unable to provide appointments on Tuesdays, Thursdays, in the evenings or at weekends.

Available appointment times are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during the daytime.
You will be asked to provide your availability during these times when completing our Client Registration form.

Individuals

For individuals, We offer a supportive space in which clients can seek to express themselves and to gain insights into life experiences.

These include issues relating to stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationships, trauma, and confidence.

Couples

For couples, we offer the opportunity to explore and examine issues and difficulties that have arisen in the course of the relationship.

We can provide the space to develop increased understanding of yourselves and your relationship, and to facilitate increased communication while maintaining healthy individual boundaries.

How to obtain our services

If you are interested in obtaining our services, we ask that you are living in Edinburgh or The Lothians, are able to travel to the South Side Centre and are willing to make a donation for each therapy session you attend.

Your registration will be placed on our waiting list. It can be several months before your first appointment.
You may may also wish to apply to other agencies during this time.

Our Volunteers

Our volunteers are all fully-qualified practitioners who draw on a wide range of approaches to counselling and psychotherapy. These include Counselling; Psychotherapy; Art Psychotherapy; Music Psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

Each of these approaches offers different emphasis in supporting individuals to seek insights into their experiences and their lives.
