The precarious self and psychotherapeutic practice in times of austerity

Dr Sachpasidi is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Counselling and Psychotherapy at The University of Edinburgh. She recently completed her PhD which examined social transformations that have occurred during recent times of economic crisis in Greece, in particular how the self comes to be shaped by the economic crisis and the power dynamics, feelings, and experiences involved. Attendance is free although donations to Arkordia are welcome. Further details of the event and how to register will follow.
